A powerful spring storm system is threatening millions with dangerous weather from northeast Texas to Michigan. Reported tornadoes have already shredded roofs off of homes and businesses in Missouri. In February, a vile rumor that Ole Miss freshman Mary Kate Cornett slept with her boyfriend's dad spread online. Cornett says she was then flooded with thousands of hateful calls and texts. In an exclusive interview with NBC News' Tom Llamas, Cornett said the rumor "practically ruined" her life. Artist Amy Sherald's first major museum survey is set to open at the Whitney Museum of American Art next week. The groundbreaking exhibit features nearly 50 paintings of contemporary Black American life. NBC News' Antonia Hylton got an early look at her work.
