The New Law
Judge Travis is forced to hire a federal marshal from Kansas to bring some law-and-order to the area ahead of the coming railroad line. The only problem is the new marshal doesn't understand how things really work in the West. He runs Chris and the others out of town, and is soon besieged by gunmen hired to burn the town to the ground.

Sins of the Past
A federal marshal comes to town to arrest Vin for the murder charges still outstanding in Texas. Ezra buys the saloon until his mother comes to town, wins the hotel across the street and starts a price war to run Ezra out of business. Buck has an encounter with a past love affair only to discover there is more to the story than he suspects.

Love and Honor
Inez is in trouble when her past comes to town and it forces Buck to fight a duel to defend her. JD tries to figure out the best way to court Casey.

Vendetta
Chris is forced to protect his ex-father-in-law when a grieving mother comes to town with her boys, seeking vengeance for the death of her first born son.

Wagon Train (1)
Judge Travis asks Chris and the others to escort a wagon-train of farmers to their new land after they win a claim dispute with an Irishman named Dicky O'Shea.

While Dicky tries to find new ways to terrorize the farmers off their land, Vin and Charlotte run off together and Mary considers a marriage proposal from Gerard.

The Trial
Nathan is reunited with his father only to discover his father is accused of murder. Ezra tries to get his mother out of her latest entanglement by inventing the prenuptial agreement.

Chinatown
The railroad is coming closer to town and Chris and the others are asked to help the Chinese workers deal with a crooked rail boss.

Achilles
JD must deal with his conscience after he accidentally kills a woman while trying to prevent a bank robbery. Ezra plays cards with the wrong man, however he can't figure out exactly how he is being cheated. Mary learns a secret about Vin.

Penance
Josiah is accused by a Pinkerton detective of being responsible for a series of grisly murders, and Rain informs Nathan that her family has arranged a marriage for her.

Lady Killers
Two female bounty hunters arrive in town and enlist the Seven in their search for a notorious gang leader.

Serpents
As Buck becomes involved in political intrigue around the territorial governor, Chris must solve the murder of the man who was apparently hired to assassinate him.

Obsession
As Chris tries to protect an old flame from a rival landowner, he is unaware that it will lead him to the long-sought identity of his wife's killer.
