Cattle ranchers are trying to get rid of the townsfolk when Judge Oren Travis comes to town to bring a little law to the area. After bringing in a man wanted for murder, the Judge offers Chris and the others a chance to protect the town full time.

Chris and the others defy the town when they offer to protect a group of working girls from the man using and abusing them.
Safecracker
Mary paroles a young woman, Terry Greer, and her daughter from prison. Terry's second chance, however is hindered by an ex-lawman turned bank robber who kidnaps Terry's daughter to force her to help rob the town's bank.

The stagecoach brings family to visit town. While Ezra deals with his con-artist mother, Mary discovers her young son may know something about the death of Mary's husband.

Vin takes a shine to an elderly woman fighting to save her land from a rancher bent on stealing it before a railroad line comes through the area. Josiah finds the lost love of his life only to discover she doesn't remember him at all.

An Indian is presumed guilty when the daughter of a local missionary is kidnapped. Vin is called in to track the couple down and he finds himself on the wrong side of the townsfolk when he thinks there is more going on and Chanu may be innocent.

An ill-fated stop in the town of Jericho lands Chris in a prison camp run by a crooked warden.
