Jill and Chris revamp their mismatched kitchen and lounge. Ann tackles her kitchen, which hasn't been touched in 25 years. And Liz and Colin's take a good long look at their chaotic dining room and their son's tatty bedroom.

Three homeowners in the Thames Valley snoop around each other's houses looking for inspiration on how to improve their own - hoping to attract an offer from buyer Lesley. DIY enthusiast Richard and his wife Carrie must make their virtually empty house warm and inviting. Susan and Hamnet get a lesson in design, as they attempt to bring style and texture to their chaotic bedroom and lounge. And Paul and Shirley turn their daughter's massage parlour back into a bedroom.

In Essex, Barrie and Janet tackle their frumpy front room, Robert's semi gets some much-needed attention, and Joanne changes her home from stark to cosy.
