During a visit to the White House, El Salvador's president Nayib Bukele said he does not have the power to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States. Garcia is a father of three who had been living in Maryland and was recently deported to El Salvador. The Justice Department has said it was due to an "administrative error". NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports the White House now says he was not mistakenly deported. The man accused of breaking in and setting fire to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro's residence over the weekend admitted to "harboring hatred" toward the governor, according to court documents, and is facing charges including terrorism, attempted homicide and arson. NBC's Shaquille Brewster reports. President Trump signaled he would impose tariffs on pharmaceutical drugs and semiconductor chips. After announcing this weekend that some electronics, including smartphones, would be exempt from "reciprocal" tariffs, the White House now says those goods will actually face a different category of tariffs. NBC News' Kelly O'Donnell reports many shoppers are now weighing when to make big purchases. NTSB investigators are still on scene examining the wreckage of an air tour helicopter for clues to what caused last week's deadly crash, hoping divers can find key pieces of evidence that may answer why the chopper crashed into the river killing all 6 aboard. Meanwhile, another team of investigators is scouring a field in upstate NY after a twin-engine plane crashed Saturday, killing all on board. NBC News' Erin McLaughlin reports. For younger Americans, owning a home is increasingly out of reach. The age of first-time homebuyers is now at a record high of 38 years old. Bidding wars in some neighborhoods are driving up prices. NBC News' Christine Romans reports on younger Americans getting "priced out." The Food and Drug Administration says it has seized several hundred units of fake versions of Ozempic.
