The federal government froze more than $2 billion in federal funding after Harvard rejected a wide-ranging list of Trump administration demands. NBC News' Stephanie Gosk reports. A federal judge demanded to know what the Trump administration has done to comply with a court order to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States after he was deported to El Salvador. The judge ordered the federal government to turn over evidence and facilitate depositions in the next two weeks. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. At a bipartisan conference in Chicago focused on preserving social security benefits, the former President made his first public appearance. Mr. Biden laid out what he sees as a threat to social security over cuts to staff and local offices that could affect seniors' access. NBC News' Kelly O'Donnell has more. Authorities released new body camera video from inside the New Mexico home where legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead in February. An investigative report also revealed Arakawa's Google searches in the days before she died. NBC News' Dana Griffin reports she had searched for information on covid and had ordered oxygen canisters. With the skies growing more crowded, FAA experts are testing new drone detection technology along the New Jersey shore to ensure safety for planes and emergency service helicopters. NBC News' Sam Brock has more. The findings of a new CDC report show that one in 31 children in the United States are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder by their 8th birthday. Doctors are not agreeing on all the findings. NBC's Anne Thompson has more.
