Nathan Carter travels to Spain for a week of performances in the sun with hundreds of fans from all over the world, and Philomena Begley heads to Bundoran for a special gig to celebrate two milestones, her 80th birthday and her 60th year on the road.
Nathan Carter is a household name, he is adored by legions of fans and regularly sells out theatres and venues across Ireland and the UK. His annual trip to the Costa Blanca in Spain was postponed during Covid but now it's back bigger than ever and the fans have travelled for a week-long festival of music and craic. This crowd aren't interested in lying by the pool, they want to line dance by the pool.
Philomena Begley is known as the 'Queen of Country' and it's not hard to understand why she has been given that crown. Celebrating her 80th birthday and 60 years on the road with a special gig in Bundoran, we follow her preparations and hear from some of her superfans in the build-up to a memorable occasion.

Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and lest known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
