Episode 1

Derek Ryan and Lisa McHugh get ready to take to the stage for the annual Farmers' Bash – a sold-out show at the biggest venue in the country. After nearly two years of postponements, the fans, many of whom work in the agri-sector, are ready to swap their wellies for their dancing shoes.
Derek Ryan is one of the biggest names on the country music scene and his string of hits and number one albums means he is a massive draw for fans of all ages. Headlining such a massive gig after nearly two years of nothing is as exciting as it is daunting and the band are busy rehearsing their set in between regular gigs all across Ireland.
Lisa McHugh hardly picked up a guitar when music venues were closed. That's because she was busy picking up her new-born son. Now things are back up and running again, Lisa is getting used to being a working mum, juggling childcare and her touring schedule. Determined to put on a good show for her army of fans, Lisa is ready to get back on that stage.
