Summer Love
It's the first day of the new school year and Zack promptly finds himself caught in a lie when he tells a new girl at school he met over the summer that he's in 9th grade. After sharing his dilemma with Miss Bliss, she encourages him to tell the truth, only to have disastrous results.

Love Letters
When Screech turns to Zack for help in writing Lisa a love letter, Zack agrees to help, in exchange for Screech doing his History report. However, after Miss Bliss and later Mr. Belding get their hands on the letters meant for Lisa, chaos ensues when the educators think the letters are intended for one another.

Wall Street
Zack breaks his father's new camcorder and has to find a way to make $300 in order to replace it before Mr. Morris finds out about it. Zack then talks Mikey and the rest of the class to take the lessons Miss Bliss is teaching them about the stock market and put their money in a risky stock option involving potatoes. The class soon learns that as fast as stocks can soar to high profits, they can just as quickly fall, and as a result, they ultimately cost Miss Bliss a lot of money.

Leaping to Conclusions
When Nikki refuses to dissect frogs in Mr. Morton's Science class, she attempts to rally several of her classmates in a protest from having to complete the assignment, despite having opposition from almost everyone in class. When Mr. Morton catches Nikki trying to release the frogs before they can be dissected, matters are made worse when Mr. Belding takes Nikki's side. Meanwhile, after noticing a letter addressed to Miss Bliss from a rival school, Mr. Belding decides to bribe her into staying, much to the dismay of Tina.

Parents and Teachers
It's Parent-Teacher week and school and Miss Bliss is thrown for a loop when the new guy she meets happens to be a parent of a student – Zack Morris. When Zack discovers that his newly divorced dad has every intention of pursuing a relationship with Miss Bliss, he decides to use that relationship to his advantage before trying to talk them into breaking up.

The Showdown
There's a new student at school and thanks to his bullying ways, almost everyone – teachers and students alike are doing their best to deal with his attitude until he gets sent to yet another school. When Deke sets his sights on Screech to get him to do his homework for him or face the consequences, Miss Bliss decides to do some investigating and discovers that the reason for Deke's tough exterior is his way to hide the fact that he can't read, and offers to help him learn. Meanwhile, Nikki and Lisa have a difference of opinion on how to bring Nikki's play to life on stage.

Save the Last Dance for Me
After a lot of students go to Miss Bliss to have her ask Mr. Belding to reinstate the 8th grade dance, she and Tina learn the reason why he is so hesitant to let them have it after doing away with it 8 years ago. Zack and Mikey's friendship is tested when a girl who Mikey likes goes to the dance with Zack instead. While chaperoning the dance, Miss Bliss' date embarrasses her with his lackluster social skills.

The Boy Who Cried Rat
Worried that he won't pass his History Midterm so his dad can take him on a ski trip, Zack talks Screech into helping him create a rodent problem at school so the testing days can be postponed until after his ski trip. Upon learning that his scheme will cause Miss Bliss to taken out of the running for Indiana's Teach of the Year honor, Zack comes forward to tell the truth about what he and Screech did.

Let's Get Together
For a class assignment, Miss Bliss teams up her students to work on marketing American made inventions. Upon seeing how much Zack and Nikki are bickering, she decides to pair them up, only to have their problems intensify. Meanwhile, Miss Bliss has to deal with Tina as a houseguest after her boyfriend breaks up with her and kicks her out of her apartment.

Practical Jokes
It's the Harvest Festival week at school and Miss Bliss' class is intent to be the class to finally prank their favorite teacher, only to have Mr. Belding be their unintended victim with each attempt. However, when it finally looks like someone was able to prank Miss Bliss, Screech is wrongfully accused and put on trial.

Stevie
When Zack bets Nikki that he can get a kiss from a local pop star, he takes some desperate measures to get up on stage with her in order to get that kiss. However, when Miss Bliss finds out about his little white lie, she gives him some harsh advice and encourages him to tell the truth.

Clubs and Cliques
Zack is thrilled when a cool club asks him to pledge their club. While going through their grueling "pledge week," Zack almost loses his friends when he refuses to say enough to their whims, only to get heartbroken at discovering his invitation is only part of a prank. Meanwhile, Mr. Belding is in for a rude awakening when he subs for Miss Bliss while she fills in as acting principal for a week.

The Mentor
When Miss Bliss' 8th grade History teacher drops in for a surprise visit in her class, he somewhat reluctantly agrees to sub in her class while she has to get some important curriculum paperwork has to get done. It doesn't take long for Mr. Lyman and his unorthodox teaching methods to run afoul of Mr. Belding and as a result, Miss Bliss discovers that Mr. Lyman was forced into early retirement.
