When Deke sets his sights on Screech to get him to do his homework for him or face the consequences, Miss Bliss decides to do some investigating and discovers that the reason for Deke's tough exterior is his way to hide the fact that he can't read, and offers to help him learn. Meanwhile, Nikki and Lisa have a difference of opinion on how to bring Nikki's play to life on stage.
