One Mistake
Lynn is shocked to discover the man she's representing in a custody case is a pedophile, and she asks Joe to help her; Randi is stunned when a client sues a bartender for serving him drinks that he claims led to a one night stand that destroyed his marriage.

Affairs of State
Lynn represents a dying woman who wants to divorce her high-profile politician husband; Joe accepts Lynn's offer to become a partner with the firm, much to Randi and Rex's displeasure.

Going Home
Rex fights to get his schizophrenic brother released from the county's psychiatric ward; Randi and Danni take opposite sides in an ugly custody case involving an emotionally disturbed 5-year-old boy.

For Love
Rex's schizophrenic brother is charged with murder after he kills a man during a violent rage; Randi tries to get Andres readmitted to the U.S. and discovers a surprising secret about him.

Family Values
Joe and Lynn defend a hospital for replacing their top kidney-transplant recipient with another one when the first man is convicted of drunk driving; Danni fights for a couple's right to keep a chimpanzee; Randi and Andres struggle to keep their professional relationship in tact after breaking up.

Echoes
Andres' mother visits him and suddenly attacks a man she believes is the army colonel who murdered her husband and tortured her 30 years ago.

Generations
Randi inadvertently ignites a custody dispute when she helps a battered woman get a restraining order against her abusive husband; Lynn hits a crossroads with her teenage daughter; Danni takes another shot at becoming a partner in the firm.

A woman gives birth to Siamese twins and then fights the hospital's decision to surgically separate them; Lynn is upset when her ex-husband's new girlfriend tries to bond with her kids.

The Quality of Mercy
Lynn defends a man against manslaughter charges when he helps his terminally ill wife commit suicide; Viveca believes race is the reason when is turned down for residency in a beachfront apartment, so she prepares to sue.

Liar's Club (1)
Joe defends one-time employee Jamie Wilkins, a 19-year-old charged with drug trafficking who is eager to rat on one of Joe's former drug clients as part of a deal with the prosecution. Elsewhere, Danni falls for a charming but spoiled man who is suing his rich parents for cutting off his allowance.

Liar's Club (2)
The firm defends Joe, who is arrested for money laundering after he becomes the target of an overzealous U.S. Attorney; Danni's new, unemployed boyfriend asks to move in with her.

Soul Custody
A divorced Jewish woman sues her Christian ex-husband for sole custody of their 6-year-old daughter so she can raise her in the Jewish faith only.

Safe at Home
Lynn helps a woman fight manslaughter charges after her 8-year-old son accidentally shoots and kills his older brother with her handgun. Complicating things further, is the boy's father who is now suing for sole custody of his son.

The Gay Divorcee
A gay man, who recently split from his domestic partner of 12 years, fights for custody of their two adopted children. Also, a 55-year-old woman sues her estranged father for child support because he abandoned her when she was very young.

Bringing Up Babies
A woman abandons her infant by leaving the baby at the door of Lynn's firm and then asks Lynn to defend her; a foster child whom Danni once fought for returns to ask her to keep her promise to become his foster mother.

Americans
A woman seeks Lynn's help when her Native American ex-husband kidnaps their children and seeks refuge at a nearby reservation where Federal laws do not apply; Danni moves forward in her efforts to adopt a boy.

Recovery
Randi is devastated when her estranged daughter is killed by her son-in-law, and she fights for custody of her 2-year-old granddaughter; Rex defends a music star who opened a drug-treatment center in her Beverly Hills home against the objections of her neighbors; Danni learns that one of her partners wrote a negative letter about her saying that she wasn't fit to be a foster parent.

Clemency
Lynn appeals the death-row sentence of a teenager, convicted of a school shooting five years ago, who is only days away from being executed.

Planting Seeds
Lynn attempts to help a runaway girl who has turned to prostitution get off the streets; a divorced couple fight in court over who will have access to their frozen embryos; and Randi can't get Annie to stop crying and turns to an unlikely source for help.
