Julia Heininger, Abteilungsleiterin der Bayernbank München, erfährt, dass sie für eine neue Aufgabe vorgesehen ist. Sie soll die Leitung der Bankfiliale in Hamburg übernehmen – einerseits ein großer Vertrauensbeweis, andererseits aber vermutet sie hinter dieser „Verschickung" in den hohen Norden ihren beruflichen Kontrahenten und Kollegen Dr. Ralf-Maria Sagerer.
Julias zehnjähriger Sohn Max aus geschiedener Ehe und Haushälterin Fanny sind entsetzt – was sollen sie in Hamburg, wo es nicht einmal Berge zum Skilaufen gibt? Julias Mutter Hermine, die am Tegernsee ein großes Hotel führt, sieht das Ganze allerdings gelassener. Sie spürt, welch große berufliche Chance ihre Tochter mit dem neuen Job bekommt. So entschließt sich Julia, zunächst alleine nach Hamburg zu reisen und dort so schnell wie möglich eine Wohnung zu finden. (Text: ZDF)
