An unidentified girl was found raped in the street. She dies in the hospital, but investigator Bobrova manages to take a smear from her to further establish the identity of the rapist. After tracing the origin of the potent medicine found with her, the investigation finds a hotel where the girl met with her lover, and the expensive hat of the murdered woman points to the store in which the stepdaughter of the famous judge Pavel Tumarov Oksana Makarova repeatedly stole. The judge claims that Oksana was a difficult child from childhood, and he, together with her mother and his wife Anna, sent her to a boarding school. Further investigation shows that Oksana was in erotic correspondence with the prisoner Viktor Sharonov, who was convicted of rape by Tumarov, and by seducing Sharonov, forced him to commit an attempt on her stepfather with blackmail.
