In the parking lot near her own car, the brutally beaten Nina Malysheva was found, over whom a "caesarean section" operation was forcibly performed and an unborn child was abducted. The victim's husband, Igor Malyshev, claims that at the time of the crime he was in a restaurant where he had an appointment with Nina, but she did not come. Fingerprints of a previously convicted drug addict Vitaly Novikov, who was undergoing treatment at the clinic where Malysheva worked, were found on Nina's car. During the interrogation of the clinic staff, it turns out that shortly before that Malysheva had caught her colleague Luneva of stealing medicines from the clinic, after which Luneva was fired. During interrogation, Lunev admits that Malysheva was Novikov's mistress. Novikov has a solid alibi.
