Mae Ya puts practice aside to enjoy a rare night with friends. Matthew's parents encourage his independence. Lev is excited to perform but wishes his dad could be there.

Mae Ya races to make last minute changes to a song after her mother criticizes her performance; Duncan worries about impressing his father; Sophia hopes to finally convince her mom that home schooling is the right choice.

Paying a Price
Clark sees a throat specialist to check on the health of his vocal chords; the cost of Mabou's education puts her parents at odds; Matthew is surprised by a visit from his sister.

The Final Bow
