Ray explores plants and wildlife In China's tropical rainforest. He also meets elephant conservationist Dr Bao Mingwei, and goes in search of China's Asian elephant.

China's Pandas
Ray discovers the Sichuan Province in southwest China - a region of mountains and bamboo forests - and home to China's giant pandas. He joins the rangers on the giant panda re-wilding program.

The Valley of the Cats
Searching for wildlife, Ray travels to the Tibetan plateau.
On his journey he meets a family of yak herders and joins conservationist Terry Townsend on a search for the elusive snow leopard.

The Land of the Dragon
Ray explores one of China's most famous landscapes – Karst country. On the Li River he learns how to fish with cormorants, sees water buffalo and explores vast caves with Dr Alice Hughes.

China's Brown Bears
In Qinghai Province Ray goes on a bear hunt. Through the world's highest and largest grassland, Ray comes across pika, Tibetan fox and even wolves - and ends up face to face with a brown bear.

The Secrets of Shangri-La
In the foothills of the Himalayas, Ray treks alongside herbal medicine experts uncovering secrets of its plants. Plus, he finds one of the world's rarest creatures; the snub nosed monkey.
