Pilot - Day One/Välkommen
Bruce, a celebrity accountant, moves to Sweden with his girlfriend, Emma, as she pursues a prestigious career in the premiere of this comedy series. As he deals with starting over in a new country, Bruce faces unique challenges and culture clashes while struggling to impress Emma's Swedish family.

Learn the Language/Språket
Bruce signs up for a Swedish class in hopes of getting better in using the language and fitting in with Emma's family. Meanwhile, former client Will Ferrell (playing himself) drops by to solicit Bruce's help with his taxes.

Proving Love/Lägenhet
Bruce and Emma finally move into their apartment and agree to make a fresh start by each giving away all their furniture. They also go to the Immigration Office to prove that their relationship is real.

Get a Job/Farthinder
Bruce seeks a job in Sweden. Meanwhile, Bruce feels neglected when Emma begins making plans without him; Hassan teaches Bruce to drive; former client Gene Simmons (playing himself) has IRS problems and sets out to get Bruce's help.

Fitting In/Vänner
Bruce has trouble fitting in with Emma's friends due to language barriers. Meanwhile, Bruce attempts to win over Viveka; an unforeseen turn marks Bruce's friendship with Hassan; and Bruce receives surprising news from his parents.

Bruce's parents visit, leading to a culture clash with Emma's parents. Meanwhile, Bruce tries to prove that moving to Sweden was a good idea, and Emma shares big news.

Homesick/Lagom
Bruce receives an offer from Amy Poehler (playing herself) to return to New York to help her resolve a financial problem. Poehler will stop at nothing to get Bruce's aid, even enlisting Aubrey Plaza (playing herself) to help get him back to the U.S. Meanwhile, Bruce sets out to work as a celebrity money manager.
