Tegenlicht kijkt naar de politieke leiders van vandaag met een vakjury van mediaprofessionals Vandaag de dag is alles televisie. In de nooit ophoudende beeldenstroom lopen realiteit en fictie voortdurend door elkaar. We bekijken de wereld alsof het televisie is: realiteit wordt reality, en politiek een televisieverhaal. Dat stelt nieuwe eisen aan de politici van vandaag: ze zijn acteurs geworden in een reality-verhaal. In dat verhaal beoordelen we in de eerste plaats geen programma’s of standpunten, maar karakters en plots. En daarbij is emotie de leidraad.
