His mother went out to feed the cattle and was gone for less than half an hour, but that was enough time for the little boy to find his clothes and slip away in an unknown direction. On a night flight to Makhachkala a team of Liza Alert volunteers flew out with equipment that their Dagestani colleagues did not have. The task was to find the child, dead or alive. But when the plane was about to land, a STOP command sounded in the village...
