Юля Ходько
16-year-old Yulia Khodko from Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi is a promising athlete, captain of the handball team. The girl is sure that in the near future she will get into the national team of Ukraine, will make a great career, will see the world and will earn a lot of money. But all Yulia's hopes are dashed by pregnancy. The father of her child is a gypsy. She has seen him only twice in her life and knows almost nothing about him.
In despair, the heroine attempts to induce a miscarriage with the help of heavy exertion, but nothing works. The whole pregnancy, the girl lives with dreams of returning to her team immediately after childbirth. Then she does not realise that her mother has completely different plans for her future!
