Nathan is at a crossroads in his (after) life… his ex-girlfriend Ingrid has unexpectedly arrived to Lakeview hoping to strengthen their relationship, but his heart still secretly yearns for his customer service angel Nora. Meanwhile Nora is off the grid and involved with the anti-tech rebel group "The Ludds".

Nora's loyalties are stressed as she is called upon to take revolutionary action. Nathan's visiting family prompts him to consider what he wants out of his afterlife. Luke invents a new sport.

Mind Frisk
Nathan and Nora race to stop a potentially dangerous technological advance. Luke boycotts sleep when he finds Horizen is profiting from his dreams, as Aleesha continues to rise in the Horizen hierarchy. Ingrid is tempted by a new tech offering: digital babies.

The Outing
Nora and Aleesha pursue the mystery into New York City with Nathan and Luke along on screens. Ingrid receives unexpected visitors.
