
Unbending Will (2020)
Shen Yong from the provincial electricity conservation is sent down to Taolai village to be their secretary. It ignites a series of stories as he helps the villagers repair the hydropower station. Ten regions are affected by different levels of poverty. The local people and poverty alleviation cadres work together to overcome their situation.
Wu Feifei from Nankang is diligently learning about the poverty alleviation efforts of neighboring villages. He successfully uses the innovative "1 plus 1 is greater than two" model to establish a brand that becomes a gold mine for the entire village. Peng Li from Dashi is responsible for the upcoming relocation. She cleverly appeases the villagers and resolves their practical issues to help them move away from the remote mountain.
The new secretary of Xiaoqi is unafraid and full of spirit in promulgating e-commerce within the village. Liang Qi of Liangshan Village uses science to eliminate superstitions and lead the Yi people on the road to cultural tourism. University student Dai Zhiqiang aspires to help the poor. He helps the lazy Wang Decai find a means to make a living and transforms the barren land into a valley of flowers. Through everyone's efforts, they reach a new starting point towards prosperity.
