David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis, who've been friends for 40 years, pedal through France while getting up to mischief, exploring stunning local sights and having a good chat along the way. Gearing up for their longest holiday together, they begin in Arcachon - a beautiful seaside resort on the Atlantic - and head towards the grand city of Bordeaux. They discover the city's amazing Renaissance architecture, take in the stunning waterfront and sample delicious seafood in its 250-year-old market. Heading east, David and Hugh visit the Château Toulouse-Lautrec to see where the famous painter created some of his masterpieces. For the final leg, they explore the historic Garonne canal and tackle David's first hill of the trip to discover the incredible view over the whole Garonne River valley.

Two best mates, two bikes and over 200 miles of beautiful French landscape. David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis, who've been friends for 40 years, pedal through France while getting up to mischief, exploring stunning local sights and having a good old chat along the way. This time, David and Hugh cycle along the final part of the majestic Garonne canal and discover amazing scenes and astonishing stories in unexpected places, while digging deeper into their upbringings and family histories. They discover the only Rembrandt that's not in a museum or a private collection, only yards off the cycle route. Hugh shows off his superior sporting skills in a battle with David and some local gents on the pétanque pitch. David discovers a connection with his family's past through a story of heroism in the town of Moissac. And they round off their Garonne canal trip by heading into Toulouse to find a priceless artefact hidden underneath the city's 800-year-old Basilica.

Episode 3

Two best mates, two bikes and over 200 miles of beautiful French landscape. David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis, who've been friends for 40 years, pedal through France while getting up to mischief, exploring stunning local sights and having a good old chat along the way. This time, David's cycling mettle - and his dodgy knee - are put to the test as he and Hugh travel along the Canal du Midi and tackle some of the most challenging parts of the route so far. Along the way, Hugh and David visit an artisanal dye expert who reveals the ancient magic behind turning things blue. At the Seuil de Naurouze, they gatecrash an unusual local fiesta, before dining in Castelnaudary - the cassoulet capital of the world - where Hugh can sample his favourite French dish. This leg of the journey culminates at the beautifully preserved medieval citadel of Carcassonne, where Hugh and David uncover its fascinating history and finally take a breather.

Episode 4

Two best mates, two bikes and over 200 miles of beautiful French landscape. David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis, who've been friends for 40 years, pedal through France while getting up to mischief, exploring stunning local sights and having a good old chat along the way. On the final leg of their journey, David and Hugh head to the pretty Mediterranean port of Le Somail where, to David's delight, they give the biking a break and take a leisurely boat ride along the Canal du Midi. But they're soon both back in the saddle, to head to the city of Beziers and see the engineering genius behind the Nine Locks of Fonseranes - one of the most spectacular sights on the whole canal. Then it's off to a Languedoc vineyard for some wine and cheese tasting, which goes down a treat before the final push to the coast and the seaside town of Sète. But after all that pedalling, has Hugh converted his friend into a cyclist?

Except Aziraphale, a somewhat fussy angel, and Crowley, a fast-living demon--both of whom have lived among Earth's mortals since The Beginning and have grown rather fond of the lifestyle--are not actually looking forward to the coming war.
