BELLE feels hopeless as she believes she is suffering from an incurable illness. She has no one to turn to and finally decides to confide in SAM. ZOE invites SAM to go on a trip with her but SAM prefers to stay with BELLE so as to console her and to give her support. For this reason, SAM tries to find an excuse not to leave Hong Kong. CHEONG urges DONALD to resign from his job so that he can return to CHEONG’s company. Nevertheless, DONALD is very happy in his job as a pilot and has no intention of taking up his father’s business. SAM suggests BELLE should let VINCENT know about her situation, but BELLE does not want to worry VINCENT and refuses to tell him the truth. VINCENT gets promoted to the position of Captain, and his friends organize a celebration party for him. VINCENT discovers that BELLE has been taking anti-AIDS drugs, and believes that there must be something wrong with her……
