Exploring the Unfamiliar
Host George Young travels across China into unfamiliar territory - its ancient towns - to explore life from a bygone era and meet the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage. From woodcarving with a national master; hand pulling noodles in a village; performing kunqu opera for an audience; or training in martial arts for the lion dance; it's through these firsthand experiences that George aims to reconnect with his own Chinese heritage.

Unfamiliar Territory
Host George Young travels across China to experience ancient cultures that have been kept alive. He meets with masters of their craft. George encounters a silk weaver and explores the lavish mansions built from the silk trade. He tries his hand in making tofu, and examines how Traditional Chinese Medicine remains relevant today. Finally, he takes on a dangerous stint with iron molten fireworks performers. Through these firsthand experiences, George aims to reconnect with his own Chinese heritage.

Family Law
Set in Vancouver, Canada, Family Law follows lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail 'Abby' Bianchi struggling to put her career and family back together after hitting rock bottom. As a condition of her probation, Abby is forced to work at her estranged father's firm, Svensson and Associates, and practice in family law for the first time while forging new relationships with the half-brother and half-sister whom she's never met. The result is a dysfunctional family law firm operating to help other families with their own dysfunctions.
