Hoe geraak ik in Guinness Book?
In deze eerste aflevering wil Tom met naam en toenaam in het Guinness Book of Records belanden. Het beroemde Book of Records staat vol met tips om zelf recordhouder te worden en dat is precies wat Tom in deze aflevering wil bereiken. Start in Wales Hij begint in Wales om er deel te nemen aan de recordpoging om met zoveel mogelijk mensen taarten naar elkaar te gooien. Samen met 59 andere mensen slaagt hij in deze opdracht, maar dat brengt hem niet dichter bij zijn doel, want bij massarecords wordt niemand persoonlijk vermeld en dat is precies wat Tom wel wil. Jammer... Volgens het boek zijn er verschillende manieren om recordhouder te worden. Soms ben je al recordhouder zonder het te weten. Is Tom de man met de langste darmen ter wereld of heeft hij drie ribben meer dan een gewone sterveling? Een uitgebreid medisch onderzoek brengt hierover uitsluitsel en het resultaat is teleurstellend: Tom is lichamelijk volledig in orde en zal dus iets anders moeten verzinnen om recordhouder te worden…
