Japan
This week, Olympic diving sensation Tom Daley and his BFF Sophie head for the home of the rising sun - Japan, as part of their globetrotting adventure.
Starting in the electric city Tokyo, they're about to experience a 1000 mile trip, ending with Tom paragliding off a mountain. But in a country where there are few English translations, it's a major culture shock and the backpacking duo soon find themselves lost in the city.
They check into a hostel where the rooms are an arms width wide with no beds, they meet some colourful Cosplay characters, have tea with a Japanese Maiko, and hit the stage for a night of crazy karaoke.
Tom even takes part in an ancient lantern festival, before facing a terrifying paraglide –but will unpredictable weather conditions put an end to Tom's chances of jumping?

New Zealand
It's week three of Tom's whistle stop global adventure, and this time the high diver and his friend of 7 years Sophie have come to New Zealand. It's the depths of winter and they're on a road trip through the stunning South Island to take on the might of the world's highest cliff jump.
They've ditched fancy hotels for a real backpacker experience and decide to rent a cheap motorhome. But the road trip rookies soon struggle with both the empty highways and the realities of living out of a camper. A freezing trip to a breath-taking glacier pushes the pair to the limit and Tom loses his cool before they have a run in with the long arm of the New Zealand law.
A death defying 357ft canyon swing leaves Sophie petrified but with a head for heights, Tom's soon calling on his diving training to set a new somersault record. Will he have what it takes to end this leg of the trip with another badge on his trunks?

Australia
On this leg of their global adventure Tom and Sophie head down under to the land of golden beaches and kangaroos - Australia. They're travelling by land, sea and air to explore the country, where Tom will take to the skies in a fighter plane.
Along the way they marvel at the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef and have a gladiatorial battle, before taking the trip off road on the world's largest sand island , Fraser Island. They struggle with camping and the great outdoors, but soon inject some glamour into the adventure with a trip to X Factor Australia, courtesy of celebrity judge Dannii Minogue.
A 400mph flight in a fighter jet is the perfect way to end the trip, but will Tom hold his nerve as he flies by the seat of his pants?

Europe
This week Tom and Sophie are in their own backyard - Europe. Starting in Spain, where Tom's competed on the diving stage, they are going to travel through France and into Switzerland for Tom to do the world's most famous bungee jump off the incredible Verzasca Dam.
They swap hostels for a homestay and are welcomed with open arms by a foreign family, where Tom puts his Spanish A' level to good use by pranking Sophie. A car rental goes up in smoke, and a terrifying wall climb in the Swiss Alps sends Sophie over the edge. But a celebrity rendezvous with Mollie King from The Saturdays in uber cool Cannes provides a glamorous stop off away from the rigours of backpacking.
Europe's highest bungee jump at 220 metres has Tom shaking in his harness - will he conquer the scariest stunt of the adventure so far?

Morocco
It's the final week of Tom's global adventure, and he and Sophie are ending their whistle-stop world tour in Morocco, where they will endeavour to climb 600ft up a cliff and rappel into a gorge.
They shop for souvenirs in the bustling markets of Marrakech and get treated to a Hammam body scrub, but a meal of animal brains and eyes are also on the itinerary…if they can stomach it. They travel through Morocco's epic landscape on the Tizi N'Tichka pass, and brave a night in the legendary Sahara desert where Tom faces humps and more than a few bumps with a mischievous camel.
Within touching distance of home their final challenge is climbing the Todra Gorge - but its rock hard, and even Olympian Tom is tested to the limit.
