The Japanese yen is plummeting to historic lows. On April 29, the currency briefly fell below the 160 mark against the dollar for the first time in 34 years. Prices are skyrocketing at supermarkets. And many people are no longer able to afford overseas vacations, opting to go to local cultural fairs instead. What's behind this trend and how long will it last?
