Rachel Roth flees her home after a man shoots Rachel's mother in the head. In Detroit, Dick Grayson deals with his job as a police detective while moonlighting as a masked vigilante. A woman in Vienna, Kory Anders, is on the run from criminals, has the ability to shoot fire from her body, and no memory of her past life. And a teenage animal shapeshifter breaks into an electronic store.

Hawk and Dove
Dick takes Rachel to two old friends, Hank and Dawn... who are secretly the vigilante heroes Hawk and Dove.

Origins
Kory rescues Rachel from the Nuclear Family and takes her to the convent where Rachel was raised. Meanwhile, Dick starts to put together the pieces, and Rachel meets Gar.

Doom Patrol
After finding Rachel in the forest, Gar takes her to where he lives: the Calder house, where three individuals badly injured in accidents and given a second chance at life dwell.

Dick tries to get a handle on the powers of his new associates. Meanwhile, the Nuclear Family get a new Father and go looking for Rachel.

Jason Todd
Jason reveals why he visited Dick, and Dick goes on a side mission while Kory, Rachel, and Gar hole up in a Wayne safe house.

Asylum
When the team finds out where Rachel's mother is, they go to the asylum where the organization is holding her. However, while Adamson tries to convince Rachel to join their cause, Dick, Kory, and Gar undergo "assessment".

Donna Troy
While Dick seeks out an old friend for advice, Kory remembers more of her past while Rachel and Angela discuss their past.

Hank and Dawn
As Dawn lies in a coma after her battle with the Nuclear Family, both she and Hank hear Rachel calling to them.

Kory, Dick, and Donna find out how Kory came to Earth. Meanwhile, Rachel makes contact with her father in a desperate attempts to save Gar.

Dick has a family in California and a perfect life. But a crippled Jason Todd calls him back to Gotham to deal with a Batman who has snapped from one loss too many.
