Season 1
In Korea's feudal past, the deposed Crown Prince Lee Hun has been forced into a lonely exile by his cruel older brother, who has usurped the throne. Lee Hun fears for his life at every moment, as his brother plans to secure his place on the royal seat by killing him. Assassins and other schemes are a constant threat for Lee Hun, whose only true ally is his faithful and kind-hearted bodyguard Guem.
Meanwhile, in modern times, a high school student named Eun Ho loves paintings. In fact, art is his whole world. And when he is tasked with completing a mysterious painting, he is unexpectedly drawn back into the distant past, where he meets Lee Hun. The duo starts to form a close, romantic, and tender bond. But as the acting king grows restless, hoping to kill the exiled Crown Prince as soon as possible, Eun Ho begins to understand that he may be Lee Hun's best – or perhaps only – chance of survival...

High school student Eun Ho is transported to feudal Korea through a mysterious painting. There, he immediately encounters Lee Heon, an exiled prince.

Episode 2
Lee Heon promises Eun Ho his freedom in exchange for delivering a letter to the king.

Episode 3
Eun Ho sets out on his own to deliver the letter on behalf of the prince.

Episode 4
An attempt on the prince's life forces the trio closer together.

Episode 5
Euon Ho takes Lee Heon to paint the sunset, but Geum starts to worry when they stay out too late.

Episode 6
Eon Ho desperately searches for a way home as his final exam is less than a week away.

Episode 7
With knowledge that the king will soon order Lee Heon to take poison, Eun Ho hurries to finish the painting with hopes of escaping with Lee Heon.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
