Royce Bennett's wife is worried about him. Although he has been a champion rodeo performer for years, his recent work has not been up to par and he has been moody.

Mitch and Andy meet a girl named Clemmie who rode into town on a motorcycle. She's looking for her father, a rodeo performer she hasn't seen since her childhood, because Clemmie wants to make sure that he attends her wedding.

Andy and Mitch get into an argument, so Mitch hitches a ride to the next rodeo with a family of intinerant farmers, who are looking to make a new start elsewhere after their farm was destroyed by a flood.

Eddie Gannon was killed in action during the Korean War. One of his buddies, Paul Corbelo, charges that Eddie died because of the cowardice of one of the other soldiers when they got together with Mitch at a reunion.

It took some doing, but policeman Burt Carter finally jails Julio Perez for drunken driving and resisting arrest. And Carter hasn't heard the last of Julio---he soon finds himself involved in charges of police brutality.

Mitch decides to buy horses from an Indian reservation and sell them to the rodeo. His Indian friend, Bullriver is supposed to deliver the horses.

Andy is relaxing at a drive-in restaurant one late evening when he's approached by some surly teenagers looking for kicks, and Andy is a convenient target.

An embittered drifter risks his life on a Brahma bull to win enough money to a pay a 22-year-old debt.

Andy has really flipped over carnival dancer Jenny Callan, and to prove his to love to her, he decides to ride a bull, over the objections of his older brother Mitch.

When a bull catches up with rodeo clown Willie Xeno, it becomes obvious that his legs are giving out.He won't consider retirement, because he needs that paycheck to support his son.

Andy is really impressed with a book called "The Bravest Man In The World" which purports to be the life story of adventurer Warren Price. When Andy meets Price and strikes up a friendship with him, he's overwhelmed by all of the exciting things that Price has done---or least, by all of the stories about them.

Walter Guthrie pays a visit to hid nephews Mitch and Andy, but he's also a grifter who cheats people out of their money.

The Guthrie brothers meet up with beautiful Valerie Moore, who seems to find Mitch very attractive. But Valerie's life is a battle against time---she's dying of Leukemia.

Mitch and Andy become the targets of a well-aimed gun when they escort an obstinate young girl to her backwoods home.

Johnny Prewitt---an oldtime rodeo rider, has only one ambition in life---to capture and ride a wild stallion named Santanas---the animal that crippled him years ago.

Mitch and Andy's light airplane gets caught in a storm and crashes into a mountain. Mitch is seriously injured and Andy is forced to leave him there on the mountainside while he goes for help down below.

Mitch has lost his lead to Johnny Devlin, a young man from his home town. But Mitch won't be counted out, because he bets Devlin that he will regain the lead, until tragedy strikes.

Wealthy Lynn Horn, an ex-rugged rodeo performer, considers his son Gabriel a weakling. The boy would rather draw pictures than ride broncs.

Andy's car matches the description of a hit-and-run auto - and the girl who was struck picks him out of a police lineup as the driver who hit herand ran.

Dr. Carl Lukins, a brilliant foreign surgeon from Hungary, can't obtain a license to practice medicine in the U.S., so he is working as a veterinarian instead.

Newspaper publisher John Edgecomb is looking for an attractive gubernatorial candidate to help him overthrow the political bosses.

When Cindy Hopkins' horse Becky suffers a bad fall, the regular veterinarian says that the horse would be destroyed, but Chuck Martin, a vet who has lost all confidence in himself believes that the horse can be saved.

Amish farm boy Jacob Blaufus is making his father unhappy: The boy is more interested in science than farming. When Jacob buys a set of encyclopedias, his father puts them in storage---at the bottom of the river.

When Mitch is struck by a hit-and-run driver in a town, Margarita Diaz, a cabaret dancer takes him to her home to care for him. She warns him to conceal her job from her grandfather, who believes that his granddaughter is working as a secretary.

Lila Never is a pretty socialite and she and Mitch have developed a strong attraction for each other. Lila and Mitch met each other on a scavenger hunt when she was asked to bring a rodeo cowboy with her to a party.

That's what the signs say, which greet Mitch and Andy when they arrive in a small town in Mexico to ride in a charity rodeo---a local Communist group is trying to stir up trouble.

In a small-town bar, Mitch knocks out Tom Kidwell with one punch---and discovers that Kidwell is a ranking contender for the world-heavyweight championship.

Marshfield Lumber Mills' manager has to close down the mill, and put a lot of people out of work.
