Part 1
Billionaire shipping magnate Eric Benirall (Sam Neill) hires a tabloid journalist (Eric Stoltz), an oceanographer (Catherine Bell), an adventuring meteorologist (Michael Rodgers) and a psychic (Bruce Davison) to investigate why his shipping vessels have gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle. The survivor of one such incident (Lou Diamond Phillips) realizes that his reality has been altered.

Part 2
The government steps in and threatens to hijack the investigation. Howard and Stan search for the grandfather of the plane crash survivor while Bruce and Emily look for the source of anomalies in the triangle.

Part 3
The U.S. Secretary of the Navy claims they have found a way to stop the Triangle phenomena, but once back home the investigation team realizes that a miscalculation in his plan could lead to unimaginable consequences.

The result is a dysfunctional family law firm operating to help other families with their own dysfunctions.
