Episode 225

Joy leads this episode of The ReidOut with the overwhelming anticipation for the Israeli and Palestinian families who may reunite with their loved ones in the coming days, as a result of a breakthrough hostage deal. The deal, agreed upon by Israel and Hamas, calls for the release of 50 women and children who were kidnapped and held in Gaza, and 150 Palestinians held in Israeli jails. Joy and her panel discuss this and Prime Minister Netanyahu's history of far-right leadership. Plus, Media Matters President Angelo Carusone joins Joy to discuss Elon Musk's much promised lawsuit against the nonprofit. Musk is suing Media Matters for exposing the fact that ads for major companies on X are often placed in a way that seems to highlight anti-semitic content. Finally, Joy and her guests discuss Republican Speaker Mike Johnson's likely push for a national abortion ban, as many abortion rights advocates around the country are stepping up efforts to enshrine healthcare access in state constitutions. All this and more in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.

Bob's wife, Linda, stands by her man and often does so by bursting into song. Their eldest daughter, 13-year-old Tina has a slight obsession with boys and zombies. Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
