On the face of it, it seems like a pretty simple question, but it is a question that has never come before the Court, and the debate centers on Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which was written by Congress in 1866 and ratified in 1868. Joy Reid and her panel discuss this, plus they preview a just-announced press conference from President Joe Biden, responding to the findings of the special counsel investigation of classified documents found in his possession.
