Burrell Collection
At the Burrell Collection, a unique array of more than 8,000 objects housed in the heart of Pollock Country Park in Glasgow, the experts being put to the test are: historian specialising in European and Chinese ceramics Lars Tharp, historian and broadcaster Kate Williams, medieval art historian Dr Janina Ramirez, and author and journalist Muriel Gray.

The Jewish Museum London
At the Jewish Museum in London, founded in 1932 to tell the story of the 1,000-year history of the Jews in Britain, the experts being put to the test are: historian specialising in European and Chinese ceramics Lars Tharp, historian and broadcaster Kate Williams, writer Simon Sebag Montefiore, and art historian Jacky Klein.

Imperial War Museum
At the London branch of the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth, founded in 1917 to tell the story of those whose lives have been shaped by war from the First World War to the present day, the experts being put to the test are: historian specialising in European and Chinese ceramics Lars Tharp, historian and broadcaster Kate Williams, trail-blazing war correspondent Kate Adie, and author and war studies academic Dr Spencer Jones.

Stirling Smith Art Gallery
The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum plays host this time. Forty miles from Edinburgh and nestling beneath the historic Stirling Castle where Mary, Queen of Scots was crowned in 1542, the Smith houses a remarkably eclectic range of objects. Being put to the test by Griff Rhys Jones are Quizeum regulars Lars Tharp and Janina Ramirez. They are joined by writer and broadcaster Hardeep Singh Kohli and art historian Helen Rosslyn.

Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry
Located in the world's oldest surviving passenger railway station, Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry plays host this time. Griff Rhys Jones invites regular team players Professor Kate Williams and Dr Janina Ramirez to explore the story of Manchester's scientific and industrial past, present and future, alongside mathematics professor Marcus du Sautoy and physicist and oceanographer Helen Czerski.

The Royal Armouries
The Quizeum visits the Royal Armouries in Leeds, home to the national collection of arms and armour. From medieval knights to the modern-day soldier, and the Wild West to the Ottoman Empire, this extraordinary museum houses a world-renowned collection of some 75,000 objects. Being quizzed by Griff Rhys Jones are medieval historian Dr Janina Ramirez, historians professor Kate Williams and Simon Thurley, and legendary explorer Benedict Allan.

The Horniman Museum
The Quizeum visits the Horniman Museum in London, which specialises in anthropology, natural history and musical instruments. Being quizzed by Griff Rhys Jones are historian Dr Janina Ramirez, ceramics expert Lars Tharp, explorer Benedict Allen, and biologist and author Miranda Krestovnikoff.

Christmas Special
The final episode in this series has a suitably festive theme. Griff Rhys Jones and his teams of experts - historians Janina Ramirez, Kate Williams and Hallie Rubenhold and ceramics expert Lars Tharp - visit the V&A Museum of Childhood. Originally founded as a museum for the East End area of London, today it houses the largest collection of childhood objects in the UK and will provide a seasonal challenge for Griff and his guests.

It is a stark and brutal look at the business of incarceration.
