Episodes

Pilot
The Mountain chronicles the larger-than-life saga of the Carvers, whose colorful patriarch founded the town and its internationally famous ski resort, then shocked the family by leaving his empire in the hands of his free-spirited grandson David Carver, Jr. Now, David finds himself saddled with a responsibility he never wanted and an older brother who rightly feels betrayed. Meanwhile, the Carvers must deal with the ambitious Colin Dowling, who will stop at nothing to gain control of Boundary Mountain, including using his own children.

Unbroken
David spends the night in jail after a bar fight in Denver, then rushes back to the mountain to face both a financial crisis and Will's anger. Max comes clean to David about the Dowlings' scheme to take over the mountain and struggles to convince him that her feelings for him are genuine. Will's jealousy about Maria and David's prior relationship only pushes her away. Shelly has a difficult time accepting her grandfather's death.

On the Beach
The Carvers are incensed when they learn that not only is Colin Dowling pilfering employees away from their company, but he's also planning the annual "Boundary Days" festival that the Carver patriarch started. To make a statement, David and Will organize an alternate event for the town with a gigantic beach party at the base of the Mountain. Meanwhile, when David stands Max up, she plots revenge; and Shelly's awkward relationship with Sam worsens because of her new friendship with Michael Dowling.

Water
The tension between David, Will and Maria continues to grow and things get even more complicated when Max forms an unlikely friendship with Maria. Meanwhile, David is put in an uncomfortable predicament when he is blackmailed by one of the Boundary Mountain employees about his involvement in the death of a friend.

Masquerade
Possessing incriminating information about David (Oliver Hudson) and the Tory Canyon accident, Travis and Colin strike a deal with David giving them control of the backside of The Mountain. Meanwhile, at the Carver's charity masquerade ball, a handsome millionaire courts Gennie while Shelly and Michael continue their flirtation.

Best Laid Plans
After Colin Dowling invites David and Will to speak at a board meeting about the lease agreement he made with the Carvers, Will tells David that the land they've leased Colin is actually worthless and he plans on revealing the information at the presentation to humiliate Dowling in front of the investors. Meanwhile, Shelly invites Michael over to a place that Sam is house-sitting so they can have some time alone together. When they trip the silent alarm, Sam is hurt and angered to discover Shelly and Michael in a compromising position.

The Letter
After the frozen body of the employee David recently fired for extortion is discovered on a ski lift, Travis takes advantage of the situation and tries to implicate David in the death. Meanwhile, Shelley does her best to repair her damaged relationship with Sam, after he finds her with Michael.

A Piece of the Rock
Sam is disheartened to learn that his deadbeat dad has spent his college fund on a hair-brained scheme to start a microbrewery. Meanwhile, when grandpa Carver's ex-girlfriend returns to town, David and Will learn that she's intending on selling her shares of the Mountain to Colin Dowling.

Pop Psychology
When a mysterious man from the Carver's past returns to Boundary Mountain, his appearance at the Carver's Thanksgiving dinner rattles the entire family. Meanwhile, David tries to make amends with Max, Will contemplates proposing to Maria and Shelly continues to find herself the object of Michael and Sam's affection.

The One You're With
Shelley tries to impress her estranged father with her snowboarding at an exhibition session, but is disappointed by his lack of enthusiasm. She throws herself into her boarding to strengthen her relationship with her father and to keep her mind off of the relationship between Sam and his girlfriend Scarlett. Meanwhile, when Colin Dowling offers Maria a job in New York, Will proposes to her to keep from losing her.

Sacred Things
When fresh powder falls on Boundary Mountain, Shelly blows off her snowboarding training session with her dad to meet Sam for a private run with the hope of restoring their friendship. Meanwhile, David and Maria try to come clean to Will and Max about their furtive romance.

Blood Money
When Shelly is offered the opportunity to work on her snowboarding with her father at an Olympic training facility in Colorado, Sam finally declares his love for her, assuming she's leaving town. Meanwhile, David and Maria continue their illicit affair even though Will is now aware of their relationship, thanks to a vengeful Max.
