Men of the Wilderness
Following John the Baptist's testimony that Jesus is the Son of God, he baptizes Jesus. Jesus seeks solitude in the wilderness for 40 days, climaxed by His three temptations. Returning to Jordan, He learns of John's imprisonment by Herod who attempts to break the Baptist's spirit. Conflict between Herod and Herodias over disposing of John the Baptist is shown. Now the great ministry of Jesus begins. We see him call His first disciples, the humble fisherman. With more than a year left to go before reaching their target planet, a lack of life-sustaining supplies and loss of leadership, the remaining crew must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive.
