In Which Claims Are Made and a Journey Ensues
Follow part-time office temp Todd Margaret through his unexpected promotion, when he is chosen to lead the U.K. launch of Thunder Muscle, a new energy drink. To unload the toxic product, he resorts to self-promotion while under its influence and enlists the assistance of his colleague, Dave and newfound love interest, Alice.

A Plan is Hatched and a Date is Not a Date
Todd's new boss, Brent Wilts, turns up the heat to sell Thunder Muscle, so Todd hatches a plan to crack the British retail market. However, he leaves the practical execution to his colleague Dave because Todd has scored what he thinks is a first date with Alice.

The Snooker Player, The Black Canadian, The Turkish Terrorist, and The Peanut
Todd decides to launch Thunder Muscle with an advertisement featuring a celebrity endorsement – Dave sets up the meeting. Meanwhile Todd's "relationship" with Alice goes to the next level: dinner at her flat which ends promptly with the aid of a third wheel.

In Which Brent Wilts Arrives and Things Take a Turn for the Worse
Just in time for Wilts arrival in London and demanding all of the money from Thunder Muscle sales, Todd finds his office to be empty of both the Thunder Muscle product and his sole-employee. Todd oversees the filming of his commercial and it seems he finally makes a breakthrough.

Where Todd and Brent Misjudge the Mood of a Solemn Day
With Wilts now maniacally demanding results, Todd finally takes initiative with a publicity stunt guaranteed to get Britain buzzing about Thunder Muscle by promoting not only his product but also violence during a parade for a U.K. holiday. Meanwhile, Todd's former boss, Doug, is embarking on an investigation into Wilts' past.

What Can Only Be Considered a Dreadful Day for Todd
With the lies spiralling out of control, Todd's world is falling apart, so he makes a final desperate bid for Alice's affections with an even more spectacular lie. Though Thunder Muscle is starting to sell, the various calamities Todd has embroiled himself in are starting to come to a head and Todd is finally caught in a room with lies all around him along with a stolen identity.
