Shooting in Cold Blood

This edition investigates the murder of 19-year-old Aya Hachem, who was killed in the crossfire of a contract assassination in Blackburn in 2020. Cameras follow detectives as they work to uncover how and why an innocent woman lost her life.

The Girl in the Grave
Following the murder investigation of 17-year-old Jayden Parkinson, who went missing from her hostel in Oxford in 2013. Detectives suspected that she'd been murdered and proceeded to question her ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley. They searched for answers and worked to uncover the location of her body.

Killers at the Corner Shop
Sixty-three-year-old Gurmail Singh was a hard-working pillar of the community running his corner shop in a quiet suburb of Huddersfield. But in February 2010, four teenagers with a violent streak entered with the intention of robbing him. Gurmail put up a fight, but the young assailants hit back harder, killing him with wine bottles from his own shelves. Detectives in the Incident Room must work tirelessly to track these ruthless killers and bring them to justice.

Killer in the Underpass
Examining the death of Tom Rogers in 2014, who was stabbed by a stranger near an underpass of Swindon Railway Station while cycling back home from work. Investigators attempted to piece together every shred of evidence they could find and tried to figure out if the same killer had attacked before. They began to suspect a serial killer in the making could've been on the loose.
