Episode 1
The Hairy Bikers begin their search for Britain's best family of cooks. Forty families will compete in a series of culinary battles resulting in just one winner. They are joined by singer and actress Jodie Prenger who cooks her quick and easy fish pie, and Si and Dave serve up a delicious Sicilian potato cake.

Episode 2
The Hairy Bikers continue their search for Britain's best family of cooks. Over the next eight weeks, 40 families will compete in a series of culinary battles resulting in just one winner. Their special guest is Strictly Come Dancing's Kristina Rihanoff, who cooks a traditional Russian borscht. Plus The Bikers serve up their dish of the day, lemon profiteroles.

Episode 3
The Hairy Bikers host another heat of the contest to find Britain's best cooking family with a lesson in how to make Scotch eggs and a seven-minute supper of calves' liver with polenta, bacon and balsamic onions. Presenter and comedian Phill Jupitus plates up a Thai pork salad, while Si and Dave make a leek and potato strudel.

Episode 4
Two more families compete for the title of Britain's best cooking family. On the menu today: a seven minute supper of British rose veal involtini, Mastermind's John Humphrys reveals the secrets of a good lamb curry and Si and Dave create a Middle Eastern shepherd's pie.

Episode 5
Two more families battle it out in the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks. Also in the cafe is Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker who plays Dr Zoe Hanna; she cooks lobscouse and Si and Dave make a potato rosti with smoked salmon, poached duck egg and chervil hollandaise. The seven minute supper is chicken meatballs in an Asian noodle broth.

Episode 6
Si King and Dave Myers are joined in the café by food writer and presenter Tom Parker Bowles, who serves up his Thai-ish cucumber salad with chicken.
The Bikers demonstrate the art of making a terrine and viewers can cook along to the seven-minute supper, glazed gammon steaks with pineapple salsa.

Episode 7
The Hairy Bikers search for Britain's best family of cooks. Over eight weeks, 40 families compete in a series of culinary battles resulting in just one winner.
The Bikers are joined by actress Fay Ripley, who bakes a lemon drizzle cake, and the Bikers serve up their dish of the day, pork tenderloin wrapped in pastry.

Episode 8
The Hairy Bikers host another heat of the contest to find Britain's best cooking family with a lesson in how to make tagliatelle and a seven-minute supper of meatballs with cherry tomato sauce, which viewers can cook along to at home.
Jo Wood is the special guest; she makes caramelised apple floating islands, and Si and Dave make cinnamon, banana and blueberry muffins.

Episode 9
Two more families compete for the title of Britain's best cooking family.
On the menu today: a seven-minute supper of sausage and rosemary skewers, which viewers can cook along to at home. Actor Ricky Groves talks about his early career as a chef and makes cod boulangere with roasted garlic, while Si and Dave plate up a warming coq au vin rouge.

Episode 10
Two more families battle it out in the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks.
Also in the cafe is actor Charles Dance, who bakes a plum, raspberry and pistachio cake; and Si and Dave make baked stuffed fish with radicchio and pancetta salad.
The seven-minute supper consists of a pepper beef stir-fry with crispy noodles.

Episode 11
Two more families battle it out in the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks.
Also in the cafe is EastEnders actress Laila Morse who plays Mo Harris; she cooks her favourite steak dinner.
Si and Dave make a Spanish style braised squid stuffed with chorizo and rice, and the seven-minute supper is pork chop with apples, cider and a butterbean mash.

Episode 12
Si King and Dave Myers continue their search for Britain's best family of cooks with 40 families from across the UK competing for the title.
Their special guest is actress Natalie Casey who cooks an authentic Valencian paella while the bikers serve up their dish of the day, a broccoli and grilled pepper salad.
The seven-minute supper is an open lasagne with leeks, autumn mushrooms, fried egg and pangrattato.

The Hairy Bikers host another heat of the contest to find Britain's best cooking family.
The seven-minute supper is Boston baked beans with potato cakes. Actor James Redmond is the special guest, he makes a dish of spicy griddled chicken and Si and Dave make an upside down winter pudding.

Episode 14
The Hairy Bikers host another heat in the contest to find Britain's best cooking family with a lesson in how to make baked Alaska and a seven minute supper of steak with chimichurri and fried onion rings. EastEnders' Cheryl Fergison, who plays Heather Trott, plates up vegetable gnocchi gratin and Si and Dave make a red roast duck curry.

Episode 15
The Hairy Bikers host another heat of the contest to find Britain's best cooking family with a lesson in how to fillet fish, and a seven-minute supper of Indian-style fish in batter with carrot and coconut chutney which viewers can cook along to at home.
Actor Cliff Parisi plates up a traditional East End pie and mash, and Si and Dave make a chocolate terrine with raspberry coulis.

Episode 16
Two more families battle it out in the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks. They are joined Great British Menu judge Matthew Fort who makes a Sicilian sardine and pasta dish. Meanwhile, Si and Dave serve up Pork Tenderloin with Rosemary and Parma Ham and viewers can cook along to the seven-minute supper, piri piri poussin with coleslaw and chilli corn.

Episode 17
Si King and Dave Myers continue their search for Britain's best family of cooks with 40 families from across the UK competing for the title. Their special guest is Bill Oddie, who cooks sesame tuna with noodle stir-fry. The bikers serve up their dish of the day, cauliflower fritters with roast garlic, and viewers can cook along to the seven-minute supper - sauteed mushrooms on toast with parmesan cream and crispy bacon.

Episode 18
Two more families battle it out in the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks. Also in the cafe is broadcaster Hardeep Singh Kohli, who plates up an oxtail curry. Si and Dave make a smoked fish souffle and the seven-minute supper is seafood tagliatelle with garlic bread.

Two more families compete for the title of Britain's Best Cooking Family. On the menu - a seven-minute supper of quesadillas with guacamole and mango salsa, which viewers can cook along to at home, plus Barry McGuigan's pork chop with apple sauce and mash, and Si and Dave make a plum and marzipan tart with orange mascarpone.

Episode 20
Two more families battle it out in the final heat to find Britain's Best Family of Cooks. Also in the cafe is singer Stacey Solomon who cooks her favourite beef tacos. Si and Dave make a leek and blue cheese tart, and the seven-minute supper is haloumi and mushroom kebabs with salsa verde and roasted pepper couscous.

Episode 21
The contest to find Britain's Best Cooking Family enters the quarter-finals. Si King and Dave Myers are joined by Newsnight's Kirsty Wark who plates up her extra-special salad. Presenting duo Sam and Mark cook up their vegetable and chorizo soup, Si and Dave make their chocolate and macadamia nut brownies and the Seven-Minute Supper is sole poached in cider with parsley and bacon crumbs. Episode 32
The Hairy Bikers host another semi-final round in the contest to find Britain's Best Cooking Family with a Black Forest gateau demonstration, and a 7 Minute Supper of fried mozzarella and aubergine sandwiches, which viewers can cook along to at home.
Actor Tom Ellis cooks his dish of Moroccan chicken and Si and Dave make their crab cakes with sweet chilli sauce.

Episode 33
Two more families compete in this semi-final round of the contest to find Britain's Best Cooking Family.
On the menu today: a 7 Minute Supper of sweet and sour chicken with fried rice which viewers can cook along to at home; fashion designer Ben de Lisi's Swiss chard stuffed bread and Si and Dave's aubergine wrapped lamb sausages.

Episode 34
Two more families battle it out in this semi-final round of the contest to find Britain's Best Family of Cooks.
Also in the cafe is actress Lesley Joseph who makes her favourite breakfast dish of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Si and Dave cook Thai style sea bass and the 7 Minute Supper is pappardelle with Italian sausages and autumn greens.

Episode 35
It's the last of the semi finals in the contest to find Britain's Best Family of Cooks.
The special guest is Bang Goes the Theory presenter Liz Bonnin, who plates up her recipe for grilled red snapper with Asian vegetables.
The Bikers serve up fillet of venison wrapped in spinach and viewers can cook along to the 7 Minute Supper, prawn and crab laksa.

Episode 36
In this special episode the Hairy Bikers are the contestants and they are being judged by guest chef Mark Sargeant.
They learn how to make a fancy dessert and compete to cook the best spiced mackerel with horseradish potatoes, in just seven minutes.

Episode 37
It's the final week of the contest to crown Britain's best family of cooks and two of the last six families are competing for a place in the grand final. Also in the cafe is Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton who makes Eve's pudding. Si and Dave cook chestnut and chorizo soup with cheese straws and the seven-minute supper is Glamorgan sausages with spicy tomato relish.

Episode 38
Two more families compete for a place in the grand final of the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks hosted by Si King and Dave Myers. The special guest is actress Cherie Lunghi who serves up her puy lentil lasagne. The bikers make a festive stollen and viewers can cook along to the seven-minute supper, pan-fried bream with sweet and sour peppers.

Episode 39
There's just one more place up for grabs in the grand final of the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks, Si King and Dave Myers judge as two teams compete. The special guest is Holby City actress Jaye Jacobs who bakes banana bread. Plus the bikers serve up a Christmas syllabub with walnut shortbread and viewers can cook along to the seven-minute supper, chicken with brandy cream sauce.

Episode 40
It's the grand final of the contest to find Britain's best family of cooks, with three families battling for the title. Special guest, actor Neil Morrissey, plates up his Moroccan mangler; and the seven-minute supper, which viewers can cook along to at home, is ricotta ravioli with a soft egg yolk.
