Student nurse Eleanor and electrician Steve are given six months and a substantial budget to transform a four-bed terrace in Chesterfield into a modern family home. Tensions run high when they find out the attic conversion has been built without building regulations approval and the house needs a new roof.

Burscough, Ormskirk
Property manager Shelley and electrical supervisor David have six months to transform a beautiful canal-side terrace in Burscough, Ormskirk, into a family home. The house hasn't been touched for 50 years and only has a downstairs bathroom, so they decide to rip everything out and start again. However, with a tight budget and house prices tumbling, the possibility of making any profit looks far from being guaranteed.

Abercarn, South Wales
Resource manager Alixe and trainee carpenter Loy have six months to transform a two-bed semi in Abercarn, south Wales, into a family home. It's not in bad condition, but Alixe and Loy cross swords over whether to knock through the living room. They compromise by putting a skylight into the small dark kitchen. The renovation goes to the wire and with only a few days left to sell, will the house make a profit?

St Helens, Merseyside
Painter and decorator Sami and operations manager Lennon are given a bedraggled 1960s semi in St Helens. In one of the show's fastest renovations ever, they create a kitchen-diner and still come in under budget. But will their eye for a bargain cost them their profit in a market where it's all about the finish?

Haworth, West Yorkshire
Kelly and Gemma renovate a one-bed terrace hoarder's house in Haworth, West Yorkshire complete with a mummified rat. The pair attempt to turn a one-bedroom into two but even after they clear the mess, they still have to face the council for permission.

Rhosybol, Anglesey
Nia and Marc transform a 1950s bungalow in Anglesey into a renewable energy powered eco-home but will the extra cost on the green tech translate into profit when they come to sell?

Pontarddulais, South Wales
Council worker Megan and builder Leyton are given a cute little terrace in Pontarddulais, in the south Wales valleys. The duo renovate a cute little terrace, complete with a tree growing through the upstairs window. They hope to make sense of the mess and clear the way for a tidy profit as

Royton, Lancashire
Plasterer Naomi and small business owner Terri-Anne are given a terrace in Royton, near Oldham. Untouched since the 1960s, it's a real doer-upper with shedloads of potential. The pair get a lot of help from family and friends, but it remains to be seen whether the support will prove sufficient to deliver them a tidy profit.

Chadderton, Lancashire
In Lancashire, Edrina and Scott take on a dated semi full of the previous owner's possessions. With a small kitchen and bathroom, can they extend and still make a profit?

Derby
Matt and Dominic renovate some dated digs in Derby. The 1960s archway into the kitchen is well and truly shown the door, but the rising cost of building supplies threatens to scupper their profit.

Sacriston, County Durham
In County Durham, Steph and Alex transform a redbrick terrace into a first-time buyer's dream but a simple flip becomes a full renovation as the plaster comes off the wall.

Walsall, Birmingham
In Birmingham, plumber Kyle and landscape gardener Dan transform the most expensive house yet featured in the series. It was converted into two flats, but now the boys decide to turn it back into a period family home. However, to achieve top-notch in a nice part of town, the finish has to be perfect. With very little outside help, can they get the house over the line before time's up?

Castle Donington
Assistant accountant Danielle and architect Alessio transform a tiny period one-bedroom cottage in Castle Donington, Leicestershire, into a modern holiday let. With no kitchen and a very basic bathroom in the damp-ridden property, there's a lot to unearth, including a hidden vintage Victorian inglenook.

In Liverpool, Michael and Alex take on a damp, tired house with a giant hole in the living room floor, in need of some major structural changes. Can they finish on time, and will they make a profit?
