Episode 1
Presented by Alexander Armstrong, Carol Kirkwood and Chris Hollins, the first show in this series comes from St Ives in Cornwall, with a live audience and guests including veteran weather presenter Michael Fish.

Episode 2
The Great British Weather, presented by Alexander Armstrong, coming live from the stunning location of Ullswater in the Lake District, investigates why.
Chris Hollins visits Rain Gauge Cottage, Britain's wettest home; and EastEnders' erstwhile bad boy Larry Lamb explores the history of the classic weather icon, the humble umbrella.
But it's not all downpours... Carol Kirkwood heads to the skies, getting up close and personal with the weather as she hang-glides into the heart of an enormous cumulus cloud.

Episode 3
Episode three of The Great British Weather is all about the sun and the unique role it has, not just in our weather, but also the entire planet's. Live from Greenwich Park, the home of The Royal Observatory, Alexander Armstrong, Chris Hollins and Carol Kirkwood examine how the glowing ball in the sky controls our seasons, our climate and, of course, our temperature.
Craig Revel Horwood investigates the history of sunbathing, and the darker side of the sun's summer heat is also put under the spotlight. Why does the South East of England have more thunderstorms than anywhere else in the country, especially in summer? The programme discovers how lightning is actually formed, and gives viewers the definitive survival guide for coping with nature's deadliest display.

Episode 4
The Great British Weather, coming live from the stunning location of Stirling Castle in the heart of the Scottish countryside, investigates how the weather defeated the Spanish Armada's invasion of Elizabethan England, and delves into some of the most dramatic storms ever seen in the UK.
The team is joined by a trio of weather legends: Bill Giles, Michael Fish and John Kettle.
