Jin Mo-Ri, the protagonist of the story, participates in the God of Highschool tournament. On his way there, when he's late, he stumbles upon two participants, Han Dae-Wi and Yu Mi-Ra. The tournament then starts with a surprising task.

renewal/soul
Mori, Daewi, and Mira have made it through the first preliminary round. With the next round coming up, the three of them talk about their reasons for entering the tournament.

wisdom/kingdom
Mira faces off against WWD women's pro wrestler Mah Miseon. Park Mujin, tells Mori that if he can defeat Commissioner Q in a match, he will be allowed to return to the tournament.

marriage/bonds
The top four fighters in the preliminary have been decided. Mira is suddenly approached by Oh Seongjin with a marriage proposal. She agrees to marry. But Mori and Daewi are not okay with this.

ronde/hound
Daewi shows no mercy in his fight against Mira. Daewi learns that Seungtae has taken a turn for the worse and strengthens his resolution even further. Then Mori and Daewi face each other in the final round.

fear/SIX
The national God of High School tournament will be a team battle between teams formed from the top three participants in each regional preliminary. Mujin puts out a call to The Six in order to deal with Nox.

anima/force
In the first match Mori loses his team's opening bout by applying a pressure point he learned from Bongchim. Meanwhile, Commissioner Q is attacked by Drake, a member of Nox.

The team led by Park Ilpyo faces the team led by Gwim Gi. Daewi is suspended from the competition after interfering in a match. Mori seems distracted. Something he sees on Ilpyo's back looks familiar.

curse/cornered
After learning that his grandfather, Jin Taejin, has been confined, Mori rushes to set him free. Daewi and Mira await his arrival at the tournament with no idea what's going on.

oath/meaning
When he learns of Nox's existence and their role in Jin Taiejin's confinement, Mori swears to win the tournament and save him. But his opponent, Ilpyo, also has a good reason why he can't afford to lose.

lay/key
Ilpyo unleashes the Nine-Tails. Mori uses his Blue Dragon Tempest, but Ilpyo stops it easily. But then, energy suddenly surges forth from Mori's body.

FOX/GOD
Ilpyo mercilessly beats down Jegal. Just as he's about to deal the finishing blow, Ilpyo sprouts tentacles and ensnares him. As their battle rages, something changes in the sky over the arena.

GOD/GOD
Mori and the rest have fallen into a huge cave, where they battle against Jegal. They faced him together, but their attacks don't even reach him. In this time, a memory that had remained dormant in Mori's mind all this time reawakens.

The Floor
The Floor is a physical quiz show that sees 81 contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into a 9×9 grid of squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent's category. The winner takes over the loser's square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game. The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger? The last contestant standing who gains full control over The Floor takes home a life-changing $250,000 cash prize.
