Episode 1
Old favourites return, joined by characters like the filthy Duke of Wybourne, Chip Cobb, the deaf stuntman, eco-warrior Dave Angel and oily car salesman Swiss Toni.

Episode 2
More characters join the regulars this week - including Johnny Gosling, the nice artist who hides a dark secret, and Mister Kipling, who reminisces about his glorious schooldays, when random violence and premature death were all part of the curriculum. Plus Competitive Dad helps out at a school play and Inspector Monkfish goes undercover in his own inimitable way.

Episode 3
The Suits You Sir tailors take on a new, young assistant, Unlucky Alf visits a fairground and the Off Roaders go potholing.

Episode 4
This episode sees the return of Bob Fleming and his chums, enjoying a traditional English drinking pursuit.
Jazz Club challenges the very not notion of music itself and Arthur Atkinson stars in the smash hit seventies sex-comedy film 'Confessions of a Door-to-Door Cucumber Salesman'.
Meanwhile, on the bleak Yorkshire Moors, a lonely hiker makes the fatal mistake of stopping to ask for water.

Episode 5
Channel Nine hosts a TV awards ceremony, the deaf stuntman gets carried away on a motorbike and Competitive Dad challenges his son to a tennis match. Plus the Suits You Sir tailors get their comeuppance when they have to serve a customer who is even more perverse and uninhibited than they are.

Episode 6
Meet spymaster George Wily and go out on the beat with Chris the Crafty Cockney's cousin - Cliff, the Crafty Copper, who "will nick anyone". Plus Unlucky Alf decides it's finally time to get the electricians in when he is held hostage by his home appliances.

Episode 7
Chip Cobb, the deaf stuntman, goes out in a blaze of glory, while Ron Manager is confused by the concept of a female sports anchor person and the Posh Cockneys visit a northern pub. Roger the middle-class football fan attempts to explain the off-side rule and Channel 9's exotic cookery programme tastes the delights of English cuisine. Plus a girl that men can't hear.

Episode 8
The Off Roaders go white-water rafting and Rowley Birkin presents a slide show, while Channel 9 present their version of the children's fairytale classic, 'The Singing, Ringing Tree'. Arthur Atkinson features in a play written specially for him by Samuel Beckett, Dave Angel lets us in on his unusual hobby and Ralph makes a moving speech at a funeral.
