This first episode tells the story of the day when April went missing. People from all over the UK descended on Machynlleth to help search as police discovered that she may have been abducted, not by a stranger but by someone she knew.

As the media descended on Machynlleth to report the story, the specialist volunteers continued to search for the child further afield in the mountainous landscape, caves and surrounding mineshafts with no luck in finding her.

Episode 3
A look at how the prosecution and police used forensic evidence to build a case against Mark Bridger for abduction, murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice without having found a body.
