Ariel & Sincere

17-year-old Sincere has been in care for 11 years without an offer of adoption. A shy and gentle kid, he struggles to connect with grown-ups and often misses out to more outgoing kids. Meanwhile, 14-year-old Ariel has been in care for most of her life after being taken away from her mom when she was 3 years old. A volunteer at a dog shelter, Ariel compares herself to the dogs she cares for, saying it's the puppies who always get homes while the old dogs are stuck in the shelter.
