The Charlie Puth Show - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

Welcome to Roku City
Charlie and Roku partner on a reality series, and Charlie agrees to make music for a popular Roku product. As Charlie delves into the world of commercial jingles, he clashes with his collaborator, John Legend, over creative direction. The creative conflict sends Charlie into a spiral that finds him mimicking the drama of Taylor's Swift's re-records, as he galvanizes fans to only listen to "Charlie's Version" of the Roku Pro TV jingle.

Lonely Fans
When a fake story about Charlie dating a much older woman goes viral, the internet celebrates him as a feminist icon, and Charlie must decide whether his relationship with the internet is more important than his relationship with the truth.

Weirdo: The Charlie Puth Story
As part of his ongoing effort to stay relevant, Charlie Puth stalks "Weird Al" Yankovic in hopes that he'll parody one of Charlie's tracks. When Al's team passes, Charlie turns to Artificial Intelligence in a satire that provides commentary on the future of pop music (and life in general), when we allow machines to replace humans.

Roots
A trip to the dentist causes Charlie to reconsider his future in pop, provoking him to jump on the bandwagon of successful artists going country. But when Charlie lives off the land in an attempt to woo a new audience, he winds up branding himself with a controversial new persona, and the optics don't sit well with either his old fans or the country world.

Merch Madness
After his good friend Courteney Cox instructs him on the proper ways to sell out, Charlie hires image architect Law Roach to reinvent his merch line—looking for new products to license his name to. But after being thrown into the edgy world of high art, Charlie's left wondering where he belongs in the new age of chaos capitalism.

Some Direction
With his One Direction reunion in jeopardy, Charlie decides to become a teacher rather than disappoint the execs at Roku and face getting fired. While guest lecturing at School of Rock, Charlie endears himself to all but one student—a mean girl who loves just one thing: One Direction. Charlie must find a way out of this dilemma. Again. But this time he has some direction.
