The Café - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

There's No Place Like Home
In which we meet the gently eccentric inhabitants of Cyril's: wannabe writer Sarah, her mum Carol, Nan (whose knitting is a thing of wonder), nurse Richard, flower man Stan, living statue Kieran, Big Issue Frank, and scatterbrained Chloe.

Afternoon Tease
Carol is worried, tempers flare over whether cream teas are from Devon or Cornwall, and Weston-native-made-good rich boy John gets to know the mother he hasn't contacted in years.

Out with the Old
Carol introduces a snazzy exclusive menu to improve business, and Sarah agrees to go to the pub quiz with John - which upsets Richard, who asked her first.

A Note to Follow
It's Singalong to the Sound of Music night, and everyone's in costume and eager to go - except Carol, who's too worried to relax. Stan has words with Carol, and Richard has words with John.

Fragile, Handle with Care
Sarah's dream is getting closer to reality, while Carol's nightmare is gaining ground - literally. But what happened between her and Stan to make the situation worse?

Deal or No Deal
It's Carol's birthday, and the day she's been dreading as Brenda makes her an offer. Can the good-hearted friends and locals make her birthday party truly one to remember?
