Episode 1
In the first episode, childhood sweethearts Mel and Rob are desperate to give their kids a home through sheer hard graft and a tiny budget.

Episode 2
In this episode, the £1 scheme hits a crisis: a frustrated Victoria decides to move in before the council have signed off on her house; local shopkeepers Mo and Eman's house is ransacked; a nearby shooting spooks young mum Mel; and things comes to a head as anger erupts at the council meeting. Even the local policeman says he wouldn't choose to live there. Have the new residents bitten off more than they can chew?

Episode 3
In this episode, as 2017 draws to a close, the handful of pioneers renovating their £1 houses are rushing to finish for Christmas. But the houses haven't yet passed building regulations, and so cannot legally be handed over to the beleaguered families. Mel and Rob are desperate; and when they discover they have to pay for extra work, decide to take matters into their own hands. 'Mischief Night' in Liverpool gives extra cause for concern.

Making everything from spider cupcakes to mummy macarons, seven of the country's top bakers will compete to create Halloween's spookiest confections on Halloween Baking Championship, premiering Monday, Oct. 5 at 9|8c. To survive this haunted competition, hosted by Richard Blais, contestants must prove their baking abilities and impress judges Ron Ben-Israel, Carla Hall and Sherry Yard. Only one winner will take home the grand prize of $25,000 and earn the title of Halloween Baking Champion.
