Grenada
Team Bachstad is on tour again. This time the trip goes to the Caribbean islands in search of Danish-Norwegian colonial history. The adventure starts in the south, on Grenada, the island where nutmeg cultivation and rum production have long traditions. While the neighboring island of Carriacou offers Caribbean beach life and disused Norwegian ferries.

St. Vincent
Team Bachstad is in the Caribbean, in search of Danish-Norwegian colonial history. The trip goes to Union Island with a 20-foot boat, and on to St. Vincent. Here they meet both pro-marijuana demonstrators and Norwegian Stina, who runs a school and teaches organic farming. Then the trip goes to St. Lucia, the paradise island with widespread poverty and high crime.

French Guadeloupe
Team Bachstad is in the Caribbean and almost halfway on the journey to St. Croix, the island that was (once) a Danish-Norwegian colony. They visit Dominica and try to understand the British ball game of cricket, before bathing in champagne and seeking out the island's original indigenous population. From there the trip goes to French Guadeloupe, which contributes with range anxiety and carnival.

Marie Galant
Team Bachstad is in the Caribbean on its way to St. Croix, the island that was (once) a Danish-Norwegian colony. On the island of Marie Galant, there will be time for both a rum factory and a plantation visit, before Øystein gets to experience what it's like to be a Rune. When everything is back in place, the trip continues to Montserrat. The island that can offer an active volcano and a capital buried in ash.

Antiqua
Team Bachstad is in the Caribbean and approaching St. Croix, the island that was (once) a Danish-Norwegian colony. But before they get there, they stop by Antigua, the island that has a sandy beach for every day of the year. And Saint-Martin/Sint Maarten, which is the world's smallest land area divided between two countries. Ravaged by hurricanes, but with the joy of life intact.

Tortola and Virgin Gorda
Team Bachstad is in the Caribbean and approaching the US Virgin Islands, the archipelago that was once a Danish-Norwegian colony. But first they visit the virgin islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda, former British colonies. A crooked fridge, photographic equipment that disappears and a Danish cemetery are just three of the many experiences that await them.

St. Croix
Team Bachstad is in Kariba. The trip started on Grenada and ends on St. Croix, one of three islands that were once a Danish-Norwegian colony. The Scandinavian traces from the colonial era are many and clear. This time produced greater suffering and fortunes than one can imagine.
